Ginger Beer Recipe

Ingredients you need
  • 3 cups Sugar
  • Lemon
  • 3 tsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1.5 oz. Cream of Tartar
  • 1.5 oz. Ginger Ale
  • 1 tsp. Yeast
How to make a Ginger Beer Dissolve yeast in a few drops of water. Pound the ginger into a powder; combine with a gallon of boiling water. Add the lemon juice and rind, cream of tartar, and sugar, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add yeast when lukewarm. Close tightly and allow to stand for several hours.
