How To Make An Old Fashion Drink

The Old Fashioned is a cocktail, possibly the first drink to be called a cocktail. It is traditionally served in a short, round, 8–12 ounce tumbler-like glass, called an Old-Fashioned glass, named after the drink.

Combine the sugar cube, bitters, and 1 tsp. water in an old-fashioned glass. Muddle well, add blended whiskey, and stir. Add a twist of lemon peel and ice cubes. Add slices of orange and lemon and top with the cherry. Serve with a swizzle stick.

Martinis
Most dictionaries would define a martini as any cocktail that is made of gin or vodka and dry vermouth. While this definition is not wrong, it is somewhat outdated. While the original martini was indeed made of such simple, unsexy ingredients, martinis have evolved substantially and are mixed with various delicacies.
